I was a the RTM Angkasapuri with DJ Shaz, which Traxx FM Radio Station located.Previously it was known as Radio 4, Gary Ratnam and friends as we use to remember it before HITZ and friends were around.I use to make dedication and participate in a competition.

Some years ago Sir George Participated in a contest for World Cup Golf which Tiger Woods were featured all you have to do is to give your best impersonation of a wrestler talking trash. After so many participants talking trash and it is finally my turn (I'm the last in the list by the way).. I give it a shot and it goes like this (I hope I remembered it correctly):

"First of all Gary Jabroni, Know your Role and Shut your Mouth!"

"Do you think all you phonys Participants Impress Sir George by sayin !#@$%^"

"It Doesn't matter what you think!"

Well this would be the final Coverage for the Workshop. Lots happen on that day and every second of it is priceless.It is an intense workshop I remembered during the 3 days, with total of 6 hours of sleep through out the 72 hours, I manage to pull off the final Exam Shots in within 3 minutes.Imagine the Tension, lets put that aside and checkout the highlights.

I think most of you aware that Sir George was away for 3 days to attend Louis Pang's Ordinary to Extraordinary workshop. Attended by 22 Hungry and Passionate Photographers across the nation and Hong Kong(thanx to Martina) It is an Amazing Experience that we would never forget.Day 1 is all about lecturing and Images critic session and Day 2 is where the actions begin.This Workshop not only given opportunity for the students to take the Photography skills to another level but it also expanding the friendship network.Although it only take 3 days but we're pretty close after that.My appreciation and thanx to Click! Magazine for organizing such a great workshop.

Announcing Nikon D700

Well... I Know most of the Nikon users have already post about this, but I'm not gonna miss the boat.Here it is Nikon DSLR D700

Perhaps the worst kept secret of any recent announcement Nikon has now officially revealed the compact, professional, twelve megapixel, full-frame (FX format) Nikon D700. From the outside the D700 is virtually identical to the D300, albeit for its larger 'full frame' viewfinder, internally it's almost identical to the D3, except for a slightly slower shutter (five frames per second up to eight frames per second with the MB-D10 battery grip).

By comparison it also includes several function improvements over the D3 including Image Sensor cleaning ('sensor shake'), more flexible 'hard button' programming, virtual horizon in Live View and different DX mode indication on the focusing screen. The D700 also becomes the first professional Nikon DSLR to sport a built-in flash. As far as competition is concerned the D700 really only faces the Canon EOS 5D (and any replacement that may be in the works). On sale in July for US$2999 or RM 10,300 body only.

Nikon PC-E Micro 45 mm and 85 mm lenses,Nikon has confirmed two tilt and shift (also known as perspective correction) lenses we first heard of in January this year. There is the 'normal focal length' PC-E Micro Nikkor 45 mm F2.8D ED and 'medium telephoto' PC-E Micro Nikkor 85 mm F2.8D, both of which provide ±8.5° tilt, ±11.5mm shift and 90° axial (rotation) movement and also have the much touted 'Nano Crystal Coat'. When used on the D3, D300 (and we presume D700) these lenses also provide automatic aperture control as well as manual override using the aperture ring on the lens.

Here's something that listed in my Wishlist, Nikon has today announced its new top-of-the-range flashgun - the Speedlight SB-900. The new model features a Multi-step auto zoom covering a 17-200mm zoom range, three illumination patterns (standard, center-weighted and even) and automatically detects if you are using the Nikon FX or DX format. The SB-900 will be available from the 25th of July.

we got our hands on the F-S NIKKOR 500mm f/4G ED VR Which belongs to Cede . With a price tag of RM 27,888.00 this baby is equipped with the VR II system, which minimizes image blur caused by camera shake, offering a shutter speed up to the equivalent of four stops faster.

Just finish with our audition for the next project called "Another life"

Synopsis:"Haikal buys a black rock from a second hand shop and suddenly everything around starts to change at first it was his handphone, then it was his job then his friends even his hous, his car and even he changes into someone else. He is trying to figure out what is happening to him and learns that the rock he bought is part of a pair and the other rock is actually causing him and his surroundings to change, as it was placed on top of a computer which his friend uses to play a SIMs type video game."

As part of the production and judging team, I didn't manage to capture some photos but luckily others did..

Petrol to cost RM2.70 from midnight

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Wednesday announced the new price for petrol is RM2.70 a litre, effective midnight tonight.

He announced that the price of petrol would be increased by 78sen and diesel by RM1.

The 40% increase in petrol price is part of the new fuel subsidy plan the Prime Minister announced at 5pm Wednesday.

The price of diesel goes up to RM2.58 from RM1.58.

Synopsis -

Caught up with Jonesy yesterday, and I have to say It's been a while for me to catch such classic type of Movie.The scene, the jokes and the action are just one of it's kind.

The Good:
Well..what Can I say?.. Harrison Ford is back and this time he did it ol'school.Dont get me wrong, Imagine some veteran which trying to blend in to todays style or plot of movies, it just makes no sense.But I had to hand it to Mr.Ford for this, a great film jam pack with Action,Comedy,Dramas and Effects doing it in Classic mode.I've never seen this type of movies in a while.A great entertaining movie and worth to watch.Nothing would go wrong with the tagteam of Spielberg and Lucas.

The Bad:
I believe that the story has a room for improvement to take home the everlasting moments.

I walked down my 2nd floor apartment and wandering around just to take a glimpse of the RedMoon..but..yup you know it..I didn't see any moon...the whole neighborhood lookin at me and start wonderin. How embarrassing...

I've known Louis for almost 3 years now.. a photographer and now a good friend.Here's some flash back.

After the Seminar I keep thinkin about photography..could it be a sign? Really admire all his work and honoured to be given an opportunity to attend a talk from one of the greatest photographer.

To be honest, Sir George sucks in takin pictures but now slowly blend-in into the Camera World Thanx to my master Louis.I currently holdin a Lumix FX-2 4.0MP Leica Lens..Havin a problem mastering it.After the seminar..DSLR?..Hmmmmm..tempting.

I was the first to enroll into the seminar, reason being..I don't know, I just love the pics that he took..So I came in to meet a friend,Lookin at cool pics,free food, hope to win the Lucky Draw and now Inspire to be a photographer!!Louis what have you done to me??!!

Learn a few tricks from louis about 7 keys and what to do post-production.Practical being played along the way too..

Hi...Welcome to Sir George's Crib...Come on in...haha..I've been waiting for that line.Some of you might know that Sir George bought a house 2 years ago hopin to be well furnish and done before the 07.07.07 wedding..well it didn't turn out that way..

Anyway received the OC few weeks ago and the renovation is under way. Ma' place located at Ganang Villa, A 3-storey town house, which include,

- 3 Bedrooms and 1 Master Bedroom

- 4 Bathrooms

- Front Car Porch

- Kitchen,Dining and Living room on the 1st Floor

The plan for gettin the house is for my parents which currently livin in a small no-elevator fifth floor apartment.Imagine the fitness.Renovation running smoothly and we'll announce the House Warming soon..so stay tuned!

The rest were attacked one by one and whoever got bitten became a zombie themselves. Will anyone survive these attacks and live to tell the tale? The whole story is told via a camcoder(ala Cloverfield) by Dino who managed to record vital moments of this funny... *kof* *kof* ... horrific event.

Justin is very nice guy who always seems to be a victim of circumstances. He has constantly been bullied in life either by his wife or his boss and is slowly losing his patience and sanity. Preferably someone overweight.

Sean
Justin’s friend and colleague. He is a joker and unwittingly becomes an accomplice to Justin’s crimes.

Karen
She is the wife from hell. She doesn’t work and all she does is scream at Justin. She is the picture right next to the word b**** in the dictionary.

Mr. Yong
A greedy, manipulative businessman who only cares about one thing, profits. He is constantly on Justin’s case for being too honest.

Yesterday I had an interview with a vampire in Queen Elizabeth Hospital..Ha..Ha..Just kiddin'. I'm a regular Blood donor for a little thallasemia girl who has been suffering this disease since born.She Can't produce her red blood cell , therefor she need constant blood change every month. Unfortunately a person only able to donate blood every 3 months minimum.

Sir George is O positive Blood Type and this is my 7th visit to donate Blood for this little girl.It's a pity that she can't produce red blood cell and only rely on Blood Bank supply.She would eventually be immune to my Red blood by developing antibody therefor need others helps to continue to live on. We all Know in the state Blood supply is depleting from time to time.Blood Bank encourage NGO,Private body or even Government to host Blood Donation Drove here and there, I Believe most of had seen it in town or maybe your school.The Blood Bank really in need for Blood Supply especially O positive being the Universal blood donor.

Some of you might be afraid of the big needle that poke into your vein, I had the same feeling too on my first time.But Nurse will numb your vein using local anasthetic and Voila~ you don't feel a thing .Blood bank needs only a pint of blood draining out from each person which is 450ml of blood .

and I'm done...450ml of my blood gone..getting abit slimmer now..hehe

If you feel like doing some good deeds and it happen to be today make sure you visit the Blood Bank in Queen Elizabeth Hospital.Maybe some of you don't even know you blood type..you know who you are..trust me is important to get your blood tested and know your blood type, it's convenient for the medical team to identify which blood reserve for you in case things happen..* shit happens.If you happen to donate blood for the tenth time then you'll be awarded with a certificate from Queen Elizabeth Hospital.I'm going for that are you?..hehe

HobbyCon 2007:Magic the Gathering Legacy Tourney

I could say that HobbyCon 2007: Magic the Gathering Legacy tournament by far one of the most memorable tournament I've participate in.For over 10 years I've battle it out in numerous tourneys in different state and even countries.Malaysian Regionals, Malaysian Nationals,Grand Prix KL,Grand Prix Thailand,Grand Prix Singapore just to name a few.But there's nothing compare to participate in your own home soil.What makes this Legacy tournament beautiful is that, it brings back memories by allowing all cards from over 10 years ago valid.

I was pretty excited about the format and keep wonderin what to play.We're going for war and bringin my long rested best buddies with me which are,

Legacy tourney takes 4 round-swiss and top 8 knockout stage.

First round is against Blue-white Scepter control,

VS

what I remember most, he has the Orim's Chant on Scepter and attemp to cast Teferi,which only get countered by pyroblast.I won this round

Second round is against an all-artifact Ravager deck.

Ive done badly this round, as luck ain't on my side..mulligan to 5 and found only 2 land drop for the next 10 turn send me packin.

with his Pernicious Deed in play makes my Mishra's Factory vulnerable, and the only way out is to burn with Lightning Bolt.

after series of Hymn to tourach, duress and toughtseize, I couldn't find any answers to his pumpable creatures in play.

Won 2 and Lost 2,after the Round Robin swiss I thought that's the end of Sir George, only to found out that I'm at the 8 position, which means I'm advanced to the top 8 Knockout stage.

Quarter Final is againts a White-green Kithkin Rebel Horde Deck, more like Weenie deck.

I could say that this deck is very devastating which able to end you in second turn.I remember after 1-0 down, and he dredged 80% of his library which I successfully Tormod's cryprted his graveyard and if only I have pyroclasm in hand, I might win this one.But It's 1 turn too late as pyroclasm only came after i've been defeated by his 8 tokens of 2/2 Zombies

And Ben win the final in the end.Congratulations Ben.

I remember when I was first introduce to this game, that was 1996 I would do anything to get some cards and I can't live without Magic not even one day.Me and my sparring buddy Shaz have alot stories on how we live with magic during the school days with little money to spare.we even make it legal in School at one point and wanted to make it Inter-school Championship.

Along the line Championship after championship comin to my life, which personally we wanna prove to the whole world that Magic Champs are from Sabah.In fact, one of my childhood dreams is to be Magic the Gathering World Champion.Well, 10 over years passed and we could say that those were the days.

Lookin at the Magic environment now in Sabah, I could say that I'm really proud of those new generations.Watchin them play remind me of my early days..My only wish and hope for all the new-gen players is that ,

Indeed HobbyCon 2007 did end up with a Bang.. Magic the Gathering Legacy Tournament really drain up all the Brain Juice that I have.. but I really enjoyed it..and Really miss this particular feeling of playin again..Congrats to the Champ, Ben and runner-up Michael.. as for me havin the third place really given me lots of fun facing these future champs.. I guess the legacy of Sabah Champs are in good hands now.

Last Sunday Sir George and Lady NaNa on a mission again..this time Lady NaNa became the designated Make-up artist for some of the pageant..what pageant?..
Haha..that day was Perayaan Hari Pengasuh or Nanny Day which celebrated here givin appreciation to all Day Care teachers.. which include Cultural wear pageant!

It was the DiGi Carnival at Warisan Square the same day the World Cup Power Boat in session.

To be honest this Carnival actually Rocks.. well because the other side(powerboat) was so hot and feelin like can of sardines..makes Sir George and Lady NaNa enjoy here better...

Sabah F2000 World Cup Power Boat

Last weekend we had a blast at the Bed..haha.. just kiddin.

I know lots of blogger had this ..but this is JoJ Punya version..haha..

Well Its the first time such prestige event held in Sabah and Sir George with Lady Nana Wouldn't wanna miss it.The amount of energy, the amount of anticipation and the amount of people are just crazy..

People just stand there for few hours and to top it all the sun aint givin any mercy.If I only had the chance to open a stall I'll be sellin Sun Tan Lotion, Sun Glasses and Ice Cool Lemonade.

We arrive at about 9:30 in the morning nothin much happen yet..just couple of powerboats makin their rounds so Sir George and Lady Nana decide to check the whole place out.

Or even "Dilarang Memancing" *No Fishing but you'll see lots of people still fish.What's going on? why don't these people understand?

Anyway, Last weekend was one of the tiring day .. which Sir George and Lady Nana had to accomplish some heavy tasks.Shopping!.. not just an ordinary shopping ..yup you guessed it!.. Christmas Shopping.. This year Sir George had to get a total of 36 Christmas Presents..36!

Heavy task has been assign for him.

Family is expanding every year therefor Budget need to expand at the same time..sigh.. I know Finance is the bad part but I just love the Good Part ..Imagine on Christmas Eve everyone gather around a giant Christmas Tree , waitin for their name to be call and give thanX to everyone.. priceless.. I always love Christmas Spirit..

We spend most of the time shopping at Center Point and Warisan Square .. we normally would finish the shopping task in a day but unfortunately, We just cant take it.. 36 presents appear to be a heavy task .. in the end we end up with 29 Christmas presents and will continue the remaining 7 this weekend..phew~~

Why the delay in completing U-turns on Lintas highway?

23rd November, 2007

A concerned motorist,AWANG of Kota Kinabalu says that the delay by the contractor in completing two U-turns in Lintas,Luyang is posing danger to the motoring public.

“It has been four months yet the two U-turns, one located in front of the City Mall and the other in front of Taman Iramanis,have not been completed,” he said. “Why is it taking so long for the contractor to completed the works there?”

AWANG said that he almost knocked a vehicle from behind,while making a U-turn recently,because the unsealed stretch is slippery.

He said that although red cones have been placed along the side of the the unsealed stretch,it still poses a danger to motorists at night.

“The location of the red cones placed on the side of gravel stretch on the side of gravel stretch is making the lane narrow and motorists are at risk of knocking against other vehicles travelling on the other lane,” he said.

When contacted, a spokesman for the Public Works Department office said that the developer in charge of the road project had applied to the relevant authorities to widen the section.

However,he said,some issues needed to be worked out between the developer and contractor for the project to proceed.

“They have been advised to speed up the construction for both the U-turns,to prevent further inconvenience to the motoring public,’ he said.

ah...Now you have it..the evidence... they mention on the unsealed highway opposite the City Mall.. but they just ignore the Street lights.. let me tell ya..I was there few nights ago and almost got hit by a car, Sir George was signalling for the right lane and only found out the unsealed road, I'm talkin about one big hole which Sir George tryin to evade, so to my instinct Sir George Press the Brake and swift a Li'l to the left and almost got hit.. If only the street lights are workin this wouldn't had happen..

Word of Cautions for the readers.. there are two big holes in front of City Mall please notice it especially at night!

Tales of KK Street lights

While Drivin at night along the Lintas highway,Tanjung Lipat highway even some part along the KK street.I don't know if you notice that,our highways filled with street lamp post ..wow great effort by the government but if only it can be lit.I'm confuse theres so many of'em lamp post but is it for the convenience of the driver drivin' at night or is it just for decorations?. I have difficulty for my vision while drivin at night, if its not because of the car's lights on the street I guess the whole stretch of highway will be in pitch black.Sir George do experience the blackness on the street while drivin at 5 am in the morning, no cars,no house lights and if you lucky you'll get traffic light.Can you imagine what would it be like if it's raining too...

Team KK Bloggers always ask how many did we kill during the end of each round and the marshal will normally says none and if you lucky they'll say 1 or 2 , which in our case most of the time none... but I'm pretty sure we get'em imagine 8 vs 5 none killed .. you gotta be kiddin me.. KK Bloggers did get 1 or 2 of'em in some rounds..but the most frustrating part is that.. when you're about to open fire on a locked target.. your marker runs out of bullets..I'm aware that each of us allow to carry 100 bullets so decided to conserve it..

but here's the most frustrating part KK Bloggers always ran out of CO2 gas(Uses Gas to ignite your marker for shooting purposes)..yup that means although you still got'em bullets but you can't shoot because you ran out of gas..Penampang Hoodlums never had this problem , you can't ran out of gas with a RM4000 markers right?

What would have been if it's without the models, we're not talkin about ordinary models infact we're surrounded by well known models such as Miss Sabah 2003, 2006, 2007,Unduk Ngadau 2006, Man hunt 2004 and other titles as well.

Week ago Lady Nana was given a mission to be the make-up artist for the models(yup models no more kids haha..) in Tai Thong Royal China Bridal Fair.

As for Sir George as always a Blogger!.

This is for the first time Tai Thong organize a Bridal Fair for what it is famous for is Dim Sum, lookin at the space that they have it is a good idea to capture the wedding market.

I would say that for any couple lookin for a traditional Chinese type of wedding look no further because this is the place! Dunno where Tai Thong is?

Here Sir George also include some package deal for the menu Tai Thong Royal China Restaurant is offering.

Harry Potter's Hogwarts Phone Booth in Tawau?

Who would have thought that Hogwarts really exist? All this while we've seen the scene where Harry go through the wall in the train station to reach Hogwarts.

Platform 9 3/4 does that reminds you anything?..Yup is the famous Gateway one way ticket to Hogwarts.

Would you believe me when I say that this gateway exist in Tawau? Infact it located in Tawau Airport.

Whenever any wizards from Hogwarts in need for makin calls, here's the place

Look at it, It has nothing ..that's right nothing just a sign above it pointing with a phone.Just a brick wall similar to the Platform 9 3/4.Wow I got so excited!

When I was waiting to board my plane I was anticipatin to meet Harry Potter and the gang but no one shows up..oh well..When I was about to board the plane this happen..

Let me tell ya..I try my very best to pick up the phone.. but fail..I got so frustrated and just leave the phone and board the plane.sigh*

Does anyone actually know how to go through that wall.. do you need a Special Password or somethin please let me know..
